All fees are given in Swiss Francs (CHF) per stone. For Swiss clients only, VAT of 7.6% must be added to the prices listed. The fees also include the issuance of a Report in English and may be subject to change. In general the Gubelin Gem Lab requires a minimum of 5 working days for testing.

    1 Select Coloured Gemstones include: Alexandrite, Cat's Eye Chrysoberyl, Paraìba Tourmaline,           Tanzanite, Spinel, Imperial Topaz, Tsavorite, Spessartine and Demantoid Garnet.
    2 For volume submittals of at least 10, the special tariff of CHF 230 per stone is extended for stones weighing up to 2.99 ct.
    3 Please note that origin is not always determinable. In this case only the authenticity fee will apply.
     4 A reduction is only applicable upon return of the original report prior to examination.

    E. Insurance
    The insurance coverage of valuables sent from the customer to the Gubelin Gem Lab and vice versa is the responsibility of the customer. If additional coverage is required please contact the Gubelin Gem Lab for details.

    		In collaboration with Brink’s, Malca Amit, ViaMat, Ferrari and SecurePost, the Gubelin Gem Lab shuttle services provide a swift, secure and convenient link between the above mentioned destinations and the Gubelin Gem Lab. It offers a prompt, fixed round-trip service at an attractive rate which also takes care of all customs formalities.     G. Shipping Instructions
     
    For items sent to the Gubelin Gem Lab from outside Switzerland a valuable cargo specialist must be used. For temporary importation and forwarding to the Gubelin Gem Lab we suggest using one of the following specialised customs clearance agents:
